Who we are

This website

• No cookies and no analytics. qsoftst.com does not set cookies, run analytics or load advertising or social media trackers.
• The contact form. When you send a message we keep what you type (name, email, phone, company, what you need, where you are and your message) so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
• Spam protection. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check you’re a person. Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser for this check. We also keep a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address to limit repeated messages; we can’t turn it back into your address.

Customer logins (app.qsoftst.com)

• When you log in we set one cookie that keeps you signed in. It’s strictly necessary for the service and isn’t used for tracking.
• We store your name, email and role, and a securely hashed version of your password (we can’t read it).
• We send login links, security codes and reports by email through our email provider.

Data from our tools on your site

QSOFT Tracer and our monitoring units collect technical information about the network they are connected to, such as device addresses and names, test results, Wi-Fi measurements and camera status. We use it only to provide the service and the reports you asked for. It isn’t used for anything else and isn’t shared with anyone except the people you give access to.

CRM & online COC

For contractors using our CRM, we store customer, job, test and certificate records on your behalf. You decide what goes in and who can see it; we process it only to run the service for you. Certificate checks show only what is needed to confirm a certificate is genuine. Where South African law applies, we handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Where it’s kept and for how long

Our website and online services run on Cloudflare, which stores data in its data centers. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and keep a business record. Account and service data is kept while you use the service, and removed on request when you stop, unless we must keep a record by law (for example, issued certificates and invoices).

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email quinton@qsoftst.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date above.
